The present website (“Website”) is owned and operated by “LITO KARAKOSTANOGLOU & SIA LP” (“LITO”), a Limited Partnership Company registered in Greece (Athens). Before navigating our website you agree to be bound by the terms of use www.litofinejewelry.com.

The following Terms & Conditions of Sale govern the offer and sale of products on our website. This is a legal document between you (Buyer) and Lito LP. Please read this agreement carefully. By placing an order you agree to be bound by this agreement. If you do not accept the terms and conditions set in this agreement do not proceed with the purchase.

You may only place an order if you are considered capable of entering into an enforceable contract in the applicable jurisdiction. An order may be placed only by natural persons 18 years or older who are legally eligible to enter into contracts and are not acting in their capacity as representatives of a company, with a physical address (no deliveries are made to PO Boxes) in one of the countries Lito provides deliveries:

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belize, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Italy, France, Germany, Greece, England, Denmark, Japan, Ireland, Holland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Malta, Montenegro, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Portugal, Romania, United States of America, Venezuela

Unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing these Terms shall be incorporated in every offer quotation acceptance and together with the order to which they relate and acceptance of the order by Lito LP constitute the entire agreement between Lito LP and the Buyer. Any conditions proposed by the Buyer which are inconsistent with these terms are hereby excluded and these terms regulate the offer and acceptance of purchase orders.

In order to be able to purchase an item, you are initially asked to read and accept unconditionally all the provisions set by our "Terms of Use", the present Terms of Sales and our "Privacy Policy".

You may purchase an item either as a registered user after creating an account or as a visitor/guest. If you create an account, you agree to provide only true and accurate information. You further acknowledge that you will control your account and that you are liable for any unlawful act occurred under your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, if any, and for restricting access to your computer so that others may not access any password protected portion of the Website or other Properties using your name, username, or password in whole or in part.

 

1. PRODUCT PRICES & TAXES

All prices are subject to change without notice until Lito LP accepts the order or purchase.

Please review the final sale price before submitting your order. Unless otherwise specified on the website, prices include all applicable taxes (including statutory VAT) and delivery charges. For purchases within the European Union, the final price will be adjusted to reflect the VAT rate applicable in the country of delivery.

Prices on the website are quoted in Euro unless otherwise stated.

US Customers

For purchases from the United States, the final price will be displayed at the start of the payment process. LITO LP covers delivery costs, Greek and U.S. customs duties, and applicable taxes.

UK Customers

Orders shipped to the United Kingdom are exempt from customs fees. Our prices include all taxes, ensuring your order clears customs without additional charges. No payment is required upon delivery.

 

2. INFORMATION REGARDING THE PRODUCTS

The product information and descriptions provided on the website are accurate to the best of our knowledge. While we strive to display product attributes, including colors, as accurately as possible, variations in color may occur due to differences in screen displays and technical setups. Such variations are not considered defects.

The availability of products or services on litofinejewelry.com is not guaranteed and may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product.

Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Slight differences between the images and actual products may occur, and LITO LP is not liable for any discrepancies. For further inquiries, please contact our customer service team at [email protected].

 

 3. ORDERING

When placing an order, you will be required to provide certain information, such as your email address for sending an order confirmation, and the delivery address for the products.

If a product is unavailable at the time of purchase, this will be clearly indicated on the website. However, if you place an order for a product marked as available but we are unable to fulfill it for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible.

In cases where payment has already been received for such an order, we will issue a refund using the same payment method. If alternative arrangements are required, we will contact you via the email address you provided to coordinate the refund process

 

4. SHIPPING

Lito LP exercises the utmost care in processing orders and strives to ensure timely delivery via courier. We prioritize dispatching orders as quickly as possible and in the sequence they are placed. Unless otherwise stated in the order confirmation, and subject to product availability, we aim to dispatch orders within 1 to 5 working days after confirmation. However, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays.

Before placing your order, you will be informed of the expected delivery details, including the delivery method. Once your order is placed, if you have provided an email address, you will receive a confirmation email with the expected delivery details.

Orders placed on national holidays or weekends will be processed on the next working day. Please note that orders placed in December may require additional time for dispatch, especially for products not immediately available.

We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.

Our jewelry is shipped fully insured via DHL for both domestic and international orders.

Shipping Policy:

  • Free shipping on all orders within Greece.
  • Free international shipping on all orders, except:
    • Orders shipped to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Iraq, where a €50 shipping fee applies.
    • Orders containing LITO x L'OBJET products, where shipping costs are €50 within Europe and €80 for all other destinations.
    • The Treasure Hunting collection is available for shipping within the European Union only.

 

5. PAYMENT METHODS

If payment is made via credit card, debit card, online banking, or prepaid card, you agree to pay the full amount for your purchase either at the time of placing your online order or through the chosen payment method.

To ensure secure transactions, Lito LP collaborates with certified payment service providers that comply with relevant legislation. When making a payment, you will be redirected to a secure page managed by the payment service provider. There, you will be required to enter your card details, including:

  • Full name of the cardholder
  • Card number
  • Expiry date (month and year)
  • Security code (CVV for Visa or CVC for MasterCard), located in the signature field of the card

This information is used solely to verify the card’s validity and complete the transaction securely.

Please note that Lito LP does not store your card details, including the card number or security code. The payment service provider processes the entered data and electronically notifies us of the transaction’s approval or rejection. Once approved, the purchase amount will be debited.

If a transaction is rejected for any reason (e.g., insufficient funds, payment system failure, or issues with the card-issuing bank), the order will be automatically canceled.

Lito LP reserves the right to validate the card used for payment, including its status and suitability for the order value. We also reserve the right to decline orders based on the results of these checks.

Invoices will be sent to the email address provided during registration or included in the shipping confirmation email. Please ensure that the email address you provide is accurate and up-to-date.

 

6. RETURN

You have the right to return a product within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt.

To initiate a return, please complete the online return form available at /orders-and-returns. You are responsible for all shipping and handling charges associated with returned items. We strongly recommend using a secure shipping method, such as a reputable courier company. For your protection, we suggest using a trackable shipping service, such as DHL or FedEx, and purchasing shipping insurance to safeguard your parcel. Please note that we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item without adequate tracking and insurance.

Alternatively, we can arrange the return shipment on your behalf. If you wish to use this service, please complete the online form or email us at [email protected]. Upon processing your request, we will email you the return labels for our partnered courier service. The cost of this service will be deducted from your refund.

For further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Returned products must be in their original condition, free from damage, alterations, use, wear, or washing, and must include all original packaging and accompanying documents. Damaged items will not be accepted, and no reimbursement will be issued for such returns.

Please note that custom pieces are not eligible for refunds or returns.

If an item is returned due to the customer’s refusal to pay applicable import/export taxes or customs duties, LITO LP reserves the right to recover all incurred costs and fees from the customer. Refunds for such items will only be processed once the product has been returned to us.

7. REFUND

Once the returned products are received, Lito LP will verify that they are in the same condition as when they were originally sent. Upon acceptance of the return, we will send you an email confirming the approval and initiate the refund process. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from the date the returned products are received and accepted.

For international returns, the refund timeline depends on the return method chosen. We strongly recommend keeping your return tracking numbers in a safe place. Once our logistics team processes your package, we will promptly begin the refund procedure. You will be notified via email when the refund is completed.

If the recipient of the products differs from the individual who made the payment, the refund will be issued to the original payer. The credit’s value date will match the value date of the initial payment.

Please note:

  • Lito LP is not responsible for currency fluctuations that may occur when refunds are issued to credit or debit cards denominated in a currency other than Euros.
  • Bank charges are non-refundable.

If the return does not comply with the stated terms and conditions, you will not be entitled to a refund. However, you may request the products to be sent back to you in their returned condition, at your own expense. Should you decline, Lito LP reserves the right to retain both the products and the payment received.

Please allow 4–7 business days for refunds to be processed once your return has been received at our warehouse.

 

8. CANCELLATION

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided the order has not yet been processed. To cancel, please contact Lito LP by emailing us at [email protected] or by calling +30 210 3219749 during working hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Greek time). If the order has not been executed, no cancellation charges will apply.

Lito LP reserves the right to cancel an order due to force majeure or for other reasons related to the Buyer, such as:

  • Inability to pay the total amount owed
  • Providing a false delivery address
  • Other internal reasons specific to Lito LP, including product withdrawal or shortage

 

9. GUARANTEES

At LITO, we take great pride in the craftsmanship of our products, ensuring they reach you in perfect condition. However, in the rare instance of a defect, LITO offers complimentary repair or replacement for manufacturing faults within one year from the original date of purchase.

If you wish to request a repair or replacement, please return the jewelry piece along with proof of purchase to the following address:
1, Karori Street, 105 51 Athens.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights and is offered in addition to those rights. It includes free repair for damages caused by normal use but excludes damages resulting from improper handling, force majeure, or other external factors.

Repair requests submitted after 12 months from the date of purchase may incur charges for materials, labor, shipping, and any applicable customs fees. The warranty becomes void if the product is repaired by an unauthorized technician.

We are also happy to provide additional services such as repairs, adjustments, or cleaning of your LITO jewelry. Depending on the situation, these services may involve a fee. For elective repairs, such as resizing or chain lengthening, applicable charges will apply.

Please note that the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product to and from the repair facility.

 

10. MISCELLANEOUS 

If any provision of these Terms of Use is deemed invalid, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue to remain in full force and effect.

The Parties acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

The content provided on this Website shall not be construed as advice, encouragement, suggestion, instruction, or guidance for users to act or refrain from acting. Users are solely responsible for their actions, and Lito LP shall bear no liability as outlined above.

 

11. JURISDICTIONAL ISSUES 

These Terms and Conditions of Sale, including their interpretation, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.
